  Note: On December 31, 2008, this module list will expire due to the implementation of the Senate Bill 1 Guidelines. Photovoltaic modules that have not fully complied with the testing requirements in Appendix 1 of the Senate Bill 1 Guidelines will be removed from eligibility for the CSI program. Further details can be found in a notice released July 21, 2008.

Please note that the rebate program is for electric generating systems.
Its does not fund solar hot water systems at this time.

How to ADD EQUIPMENT to the Lists of Eligible Equipment

If you are a renewable energy equipment manufacturer, and your product meets the criteria for being listed as eligible for the Energy Commission's New Solar Homes Partnership or the CPUC's California Solar Initiative you may have your product placed on our lists of eligible equipment. Please check the appropriate Guidebook for the specific criteria. The inverter test protocol can be downloaded as an Acrobat PDF file.

We have created new forms to help identify the information we need to be able to list photovoltaic modules, inverters, and metering equipment. To request equipment to be added to our lists, please download and fill out the appropriate form (Microsoft Word file, 253 kb) and submit it to our consultant listed below. Updates are posted on a monthly basis.
